The Sandia mountains offer a stunning experience in the winter and the views...wow! During winter months we can receive feet of snow in the mountains, and snowshoes make it a fun day of exploration. The best months are late January to March in the Albuquerque area and as early as December in areas around Santa Fe and beyond.

MSR Evo, Evo Ascents, and Trekkers round out the fleet of durable snowshoes in our rental fleet. We offer adjustable trekking poles and gators to make your experience comfortable and fun. We can outfit children through adults.

Exploration of the surrounding trails can be a lot of fun. But seasonal changes in the snow and trail conditions can call for additional equipment. In addition to snowshoes we offer micro spikes, and headlamps for your early and late season adventures. Please call to arrange these items.
