Mountain, Stream and Trail Adventures LLC. was founded in 2016 to provide high quality guide service, education, equipment rental, and community presence for outdoor recreation in the greater Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas of New Mexico.
We are a mobile business offering private and group instruction, tours, and high-quality adventure rentals for the whole family.
WE LOVE THE OUTDOORS AND WE BET SOME OF YOU DO AS WELL.
In his autobiographical work "Desert Solitaire" Edward Abbey wrote: "Wilderness is not a luxury, but a necessity of the human spirit..." and we firmly hold this to be true.
In an age of virtual reality, global warming, and urbanization the skills and knowledge to meaningfully take part in and enjoy nature are becoming less common. MST's mission is to instill a love for the outdoors through exciting activities that can't be emulated in a video game, an understanding of the natural world that can't be grasped through movies (even in IMAX), and a drive to ensure that future generations will have the same opportunities because of the actions we take today.
John Muir, father of the National Parks Service in the United States, once stated that "God has cared for these trees, saved them from drought, disease, avalanches, and a thousand tempests and floods. But he cannot save them from fools."
Conservation and land ethics are always at the forefront of our adventures. Responsible use, or non-use in certain circumstances, will always take precedence in our activities. We include these values in all of our guided trips and classes in an effort to help instill the same in our clients.
Our Team
Corey Spoores, Co-Founder
Corey is an ACA (American Canoe Association) Level 4 Kayaking Instructor, PSUPA FW-1 & PSUPA River SUP-1 Instructor, a Level 2 BICP, Bike Instructor and and Ride Guide, experienced climber (rock and ice), and former park ranger turned guide.
Shenny Martines-Office and Rental Assistant
Shenny is one of the largest cogs at MST Adventures during the summer season acting as our chief rental and office assistant. In her free time, Shenny is a Masters of Art Therapy and Counseling student at Southwestern College. Her amazing art can be found here.

Laurie M.: Fun, competent, considerate instructors offer an educational and safe time on the water! Very helpful with a small equipment glitch. I had been on my board a few times but wasn't confident to head out on the Rio by myself. I'm thinking that will change after I complete the course. Thanks guys!
