Spring is Back!
Spring is almost here, and the weather is doing what it does best, persuade us to change our outdoor goals. As we leave behind the starkness of winter and transition from snowshoeing to paddle boarding, I would like to introduce some new offerings with MST Adventures. I have been employed with The BikeSmith LLC for over 3 years as one of their mountain bike instructors and tour guides. Two years ago, I took over as their Director of Tour Operations and Clinic Instruction. Since that time, I have helped grow their program and now, I am excited to bring it to MST Adventures as a booking option.
Land
This spring we are offering mountain bike clinics in the greater Albuquerque area and a special weekend of instruction at Glorieta Adventure Camps in April.
-TBS Level 1 Clinic, Oak Flats.
All private and public clinics can be booked through MST Adventures and The BikeSmith’s website. The BikeSmith and their staff will fulfill the clinic’s as per their US Forest Service Permit Requirements. I am fortunate to continue my role as an employee of The BikeSmith and be a part of these amazing clinics and tours.

Water
-Fitness SUP, Rio Grande
This seasons Fitness SUP is back starting in April for the first session of 6 classes and will run through the first part of May. The second session will follow starting in June, and last session will start in August. The first session is almost full, and the remaining spots are sure to go quickly. This is a great series of classes for the new or experienced paddler alike. We focus on movement, stoke refinement and fun while on the water, so it is not a surprise to see participant from previous classes return. We realize that many paddling enthusiasts have their own gear and we have made options and prices for bringing your own gear to the series, just be prepared to trouble shoot issues that may arise. This option is not available with our other programs.
GEAR
Speaking of gear, we know firsthand how hard it was to get new gear last season and how challenging it is starting to look like this season. We have several new boards, paddles, and PFD options coming throughout the spring and into early summer to help you source what you need. We are a local dealer for NRS, SOL, Level 6, Immersion Research, MTI/Mustang, and many more. We are happy to offer consulting on gear purchases and the special needs of New Mexico Paddlers. By supporting local you help support your community as well.
