April 2025 Water Forecast: Middle Rio Grande Valley
Spring run off season is here, don’t wait get out now! After a dismal snow year in New Mexico this is going to be a challenging paddling season. I am not all doom and gloom though but more of a realist. Below you will find the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy Districts spring outlook. Take a peak and make a determination for yourself. Low water doesn’t me no water and wheel chair boating is still water time.
On a happier note the NEW Farmington River Wave at Gateway Park is coming along nicely! Hopefully we will see it complete with enough water to surf this summer. Fingers Crossed.
